Dodge Correctional Institution has welcomed MPM into its teaching classes.

January, 2008, begins our 6th year at DCI.  More inmates continue to join each week, bringing our classes to 35+.  As the number of incarcerations increases, the need for recovery programs becomes more necessary.

Chaplain Paul Rogers, Past President of the ACCA (American Correctional Chaplains Association) has worked with Reverend Michael to facilitate the introduction of MPM's weekly Spiritual Recovery Class: "A Way Out."

ImageThe class meets in the prison chapel once a week for two hours. "A Way Out" is based on A Course in Miracles, the 12-Step Program and the teachings of Jesus in the New Testament. The major topics cover God Dependency, Self Responsibility, Rigorous Honesty, Forgiveness and Gratitude. It is an interactive class with a combination of lectures, discussions, audiovisual material and guest speakers. The class is an individualized program focusing on the recovery and healing of the inmates mind and heart. It is designed to assist in the reintegration of the inmate with his or her family, the community and society as a whole.

ImageOur on-site training Program of Spiritual Recovery at New Lisbon Correctional Facility is well under way and has been met with a great deal of enthusiasm and commitment.  We are conducting 2 classes with about 50 student/inmates.  Both the staff and inmates have sincerely welcomed MPM and the A WAY OUT Program. We are all seeing and experiencing real healing through the change of individual minds as a direct result of practicing God-Dependency using the 12-Steps, the New Testament and A Course in Miracles.

Currently we are preparing to expand the program at New Lisbon by continuing the classes already in progress and offering new classes to include more inmates who wish to enroll.

We look forward to continued spiritual maturity with all involved.

God Bless Us......Each and Every One

"Dear Program Facilitators:  We come today in Love and Celebration rejoicing in our Salvation.  Thanking you for your Commitment and Encouragement teaching us, and helping to direct our lives to our Savior.

Your dedication, determination, desire, and commitment to share "God's Will" with us, is greatly appreciated.  "God" is Love, and that is what you all have given to us unconditionally.  There are truly no words that could totally express our Gratitude. For there is no greater gift "We" could have received.

So, from all of us, to all of you, (A Way Out/A Course in Miracles Facilitators). We Love You with the Love of Christ, and we will continue to remember all of you in our journey of "Healing" forever.
